So is that the definition of an 'elitist noob in fow armor?' when someone is pve-centric or new-ish and doesn't know what the /rank emote is from? lol, ironic.
But regardless, simple answer to simple question: yes one can consistently make more money than the cost to enter fow, so economically its worth it. |

Weird
To the person that said the best place to farm is Droknars trolls or elonas minos . You are seriosuly wrong. Fow is a gd place to farm i can make alot of money there in an hour. On avg 20-30k and hour chest running 55 ing Uw or soloing.
Anyway no point rly farming in proph anymore. Point of getting Fow armor - if u are vain enuff. Which i am But i prefer the new armor |

The Armor discussion is probably my doing (I was trying to avoid making multiple threads, etc)
If that's wrong, I guess I don't wanna be right Personally, I just plan to get my two pieces crafted and play other areas that don't require favor to get in... |

You should see which class you play most/favorite and also check guildwarswiki.com and look at all the sets and which one you like.

FoW armor has just unique look. That is all.
Now read the text above and think if you want it or not. No one can give a correct answer to subjective questions. |

well if you have a ranger, monk, or necro UW would be an ideal place to farm as they are basically the only waned professions for farming there.
for FOW basically all professions are welcomed. as for armor i would say , like everyone else, if you have money to spend then sure go for it. But dont buy it just to flaunt your money or something as FoW means nothing execpt the possiblity of Ebaying it. also dont go with everone else in having the same armor type for your entire armor build up. go with like war fow helm and glads for the rest. imo FoW armor for most professions dont look that good. But i liked the FoW war helm so i bought it. well anyway good luck and btw Americans will have the favor more frecuently for this weekend becuase we are very fame greedy :P by bestdrop..... Chaos axe..15^50...20/19 +30 hp... 100k +ecto..forgot how many well gl and hf |

I like how a question about farming fow being worth it Changes to how fow armor is not worth it.
Ok i 3-4man fow all the time like 2-3 runs a night. average 3-5 shards each depending on how many extra guildies we bring. At the end of each run after selling crap items i get atleast 5k gold. Usually there is 4-5 chests with atleast 3 of them gold. Ive got 3 15over50 chaos axes many gold 15dmg mod shadow bows. and each run gets me like 50k xp. However we dont use a warrior at all ever. Now if i were to go with a full 8man group i would say no its not worth the time. on our best night for shards we were 5maning it and got 36shards. thats the most ive ever seen drop myself. |

"Is FoW worth it?"
Hell no! Spending all that time, energy and effort to make gold, ectos and shards for droks armour with shiny bits. The thing is though, in Guild Wars, you can do some HA and avenge stuff or be avenged all day long, do AB and touch stuff or be touched, do arenas and thump stuff or be thumped. Regardless of what you do, the game is predictable, repetitive and a general grind and farming for FoW armour is the lesser of all evils. |
